Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Maui and Mania, a young couple from Aotearoa, as they prepare to welcome their first child. This was no ordinary maternity shoot—it was a two-day adventure across the breathtaking landscapes of Rarotonga, Cook Islands. From the lush mountain views to the tranquil lagoon-side, we captured their journey into parenthood in the most stunning settings.

My connection with Maui and Mania goes back to when I photographed Maui's parents' wedding. When they reached out to me for their maternity shoot, I was thrilled to continue capturing their family's milestones. We clicked instantly, which made the whole process feel natural and fun.
